Terms of use

Version 1, in effect since 06/11/2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Repace. They say what Repace offers, the account and community rules, what happens when someone breaks the rules and how you leave. Read them together with the Privacy policy.

1. Who offers Repace

Repace is offered by AR TOUR LTDA, a single-member limited company, CNPJ 34.321.028/0001-42. In these terms, "Repace" and "we" mean that company; "you" means the person who uses the app or the site.

2. What Repace is

Repace is the social network for road running. The brand signature is "Nobody runs alone". Repace is still being tested, before it reaches the stores: today the app handles sign-up, the account, the profile, following people and blocking. New features arrive step by step; each one only applies when it arrives, with its rules written in a new version of these terms (section 21).

3. How these terms take effect

When you create your account, you read and accept these Terms of use and the Privacy policy. Your acceptance is recorded with the date and the version of the text you saw. Without acceptance, the account is not created.

4. Minimum age and date of birth

Repace is for people aged 13 or older. People under 13 cannot create an account, and none of their data is kept. Children's accounts require special protections under the law (Brazil's ECA Digital) and from the app stores.

At sign-up, you enter your date of birth and declare that it is true. After sign-up, the date can only be changed through support, with proof. Giving a false date of birth closes the account.

Besides the date, Repace uses the age range provided by the phone's store (Apple or Google), when the store provides it; when the two differ, the store's prevails. An account is only suspended on suspicion of age when there is more than one signal, never because of a single report, and always with the right to ask for review.

5. Teenage accounts

  • From 13 to 15, the account is linked to a parent or guardian, who must approve the link. The link ends by itself when the teenager turns 16, with notice to both.
  • At 16 and 17, the account belongs to the teenager; a parent or guardian is optional, if the teenager agrees.
  • From 13 to 17, the profile starts private, the features that show the person start turned off and the data is never used for advertising.
  • At 18, the account becomes a regular account by itself, with a message showing what changed.

6. One person, one account

Each person has only one account, with their own true details. To create the account, you enter your @, name, date of birth, city, an email and a password of at least 12 characters, confirm the email with a code and confirm your phone with a code by WhatsApp (or by SMS, if WhatsApp does not arrive). A new account created to escape a deactivation is blocked.

7. Your @

The @ is your username. Some @s cannot be used: those that imitate Repace, AR TOUR and the team, and the names of app features. Others are held for people, running clubs, brands, races and public bodies of the running world, to prevent fake profiles and scams. If you type an @ held for you, tap "It's me" and leave an email: Repace checks through the official public contact and answers at that email.

You can change your @ at most 2 times every 14 days. After a change, the old @ is held only for you for 14 days, in case you want it back.

Anyone who receives an invitation from Repace for a held @ also receives a code, valid for 30 days, usable only once and only with the @ of the invitation.

8. Account security

Your password is yours: Repace never asks for your password by message, email or phone, and never stores it as text. We recommend turning on two-step verification. If you notice access that was not you, change your password and end sessions in Settings.

9. Your profile

The profile shows your @, name, photo, city, bio and, if you want, your Instagram @. You choose whether the profile is public or private; with a private profile, only people you accepted see more than the basics. The name, bio, Instagram @ and photo are reviewed before they appear. Nothing is blocked silently: if something is not published, you see the reason.

Repace cannot check that the Instagram @ is yours: using someone else's is a fake profile. Once approved and stripped of the hidden data in the file (such as location), the profile photo is kept at a public address, as on other social networks.

10. Blocking

You can block anyone, at any time. People you blocked stop appearing to you and cannot follow you or interact with you.

11. Community rules

Repace does not accept abuse, harassment, hate, threats, nudity, sexual content, scams, betting promotion or exploitation of children and teenagers. You are responsible for what you publish: someone else's photo or name only with their permission.

To report a profile, write to ajuda@repaceapp.com, with the @ and the reason. The number of reports alone does not take anyone down.

12. What happens when someone breaks the rules

When something of yours is removed, it counts as a warning, which expires after 1 year. Warnings lead, in order, to a notice, to temporary limits on commenting and posting and, at the 5th, to deactivation of the account, always with the reason and the right to ask for review. Child abuse, intimate images without consent, rape threats, terrorism, drug sales and proven scams ban the account immediately. Having a badge or paying for a plan never exempts anyone from the rules.

13. Asking for review

You see what was removed and which rule was broken, and you can ask for review within 15 days at ajuda@repaceapp.com. Repace answers within 15 calendar days; for disputes about content involving violence against women, within 24 hours. Decisions that affect the whole account (suspension, deactivation and ban) are reviewed by a person on the team.

14. Children and teenagers

Content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children or teenagers is taken down immediately, preserved as evidence and reported to Brazil's Federal Police, as the law requires. The account is banned immediately. You can ask for review up to 2 times, at ajuda@repaceapp.com, within 180 days of the ban; a person reviews each request, and then the decision is final.

15. Court orders and notices

Court orders and requests from authorities come through juridico@repaceapp.com. The person is told that their data was requested, unless the order or the law forbids it. Criticism or offense to someone's honor is only removed by court order, unless it breaks another rule in these terms. Intimate images shared without consent are taken down after notice from the person themselves, without a court order.

16. Your image

Repace never uses your photo or name in promotion (site, social networks, campaigns) without your written permission, and you can refuse.

17. What is free

Today Repace is free: nothing is charged. If there is ever a paid plan, it will come in a new version of these terms, with the price and conditions on screen before any purchase. Deleting the account, downloading your data, reporting and blocking are never behind a payment.

18. Deleting your account

You delete your account in the app or through the Delete account page. You are signed out on all devices and the account is hidden for 30 days, the period to change your mind: if you sign in again during that time, the deletion is canceled. On day 31, Repace deletes the account and your data and sends an email confirming it. Only what the law or safety requires is kept, without your name, as explained in the Privacy policy. Asking for deletion does not erase a moderation penalty in force.

19. Deactivation and ban

With a deactivated account, you can still sign in and see only the account status, from where you can ask for review, download a copy of your data and ask for deletion. A banned account can no longer sign in: review is requested at ajuda@repaceapp.com, and a copy or deletion of the data at privacidade@repaceapp.com.

20. What Repace does not promise

Repace is being tested and may go offline, change or have failures. It depends on the internet, on battery and on services from other companies. What other people publish is their responsibility; Repace moderates as described in these terms and answers in the cases and time limits the law sets. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights that Brazil's Consumer Protection Code guarantees you.

21. Changes and versions

Every change to these terms becomes a new version, with a number and a date, published at this same address. The version history is at the end of this page. When a change is important, Repace gives notice in the app and by email 30 days before the new version applies and asks for your acceptance again; the exception is a change the law requires sooner, when the notice comes with it, with the reason. A new version never applies retroactively.

22. Language

These terms are written in Portuguese. Translations are a courtesy; if there is any difference, the Portuguese text prevails.

23. Governing law and venue

These terms follow Brazilian law. If you use Repace as a consumer, the venue (the court where a case is heard) is the city where you live. For non-consumers, such as a running club, an organizer or a partner, the venue is Goiânia (GO), Brazil.
